In this comic escapade, Gerald Thomas directs James Robertson Justice, Sid James, Leslie Phillips, Kenny Williams, Liz Fraser and Eric Barker in their first roles in the movie. To save money and have somewhere to practice their instruments, a group of music students decide to move into a shared flat. What happens when Mervyn Hughes (Phillips) unintentionally sells a piece of his own work? He could lose his scholarship.
