Jamie Grover (Kimberly J. Brown) is an only child who has always resented her parents' undivided attention. Jamie's wish is granted when she learns that her mother is pregnant, but when she discovers that she is carrying quints, her life changes in ways she never expected. She realizes she may not want the same things her parents want for her, but her parents devote all of their attention to her baby brothers and sisters. But when one of her brothers becomes gravely ill (due to quints), she realizes she doesn't mind the babies and that she has the courage to tell her parents she has dreams of her own.
