Claire's life as a nurse in a busy hospital is made more difficult by a supervisor who is determined to make her miserable by assigning her to tiresome and unnecessary tasks. Claire's only source of solace comes from the patients she sees, and even that is not always a bed of roses. In her rare free time, she attends a dance performance, where she becomes entangled in an elevator with a charming stranger.
