Polycarp
Christians in 2nd-century Smyrna rescue and adopt a young slave girl named Anna, who becomes close friends with their elderly bishop, Polycarp. Ana has a hard time integrating her pagan ideas with the Christian ones she's learning from Polycarp and the rest of her new family. Polycarp and the Christians must find the strength to stand up to the Roman proconsul's demand that all people worship Caesar to prove their allegiance to Rome. Anna must face the truth and make a decision about who she will live and die for.
