The North Sea's enormous oil and gas reserves have been discovered, and the authorities intend to transport the oil ashore via a pipeline from depths of 500 meters. Petter is a professional diver fascinated with reaching the bottom of the Norwegian Sea. He possesses the discipline, strength, and courage necessary to undertake the world's most perilous quest.
