Phantom of the Opera

As does baritone Anatole and police officer Raoul, pit violinist Claudin is enamored with rising operatic soprano Christine Dubois and discreetly assists her career. Yet after a psychotic break in which he kills a rascally music publisher and has his face etched with acid, Claudin loses both his sense of touch and his job.
