Persecuted
John Luther, a nationally recognized evangelist, is the final impediment to comprehensive religious change in the United States. When a US Senator and Luther's own supporters abduct and frame him for the death of an innocent adolescent girl, a new period of persecution begins. Luther, who is released on his own recognizance, evades police surveillance in search of the truth. And then, all of a sudden, a once-normal existence is targeted by a squad of ex-military agents who launch an unrelenting battle to destroy the incriminating evidence. As a fugitive evangelist, Luther resolves to expose anybody participating in or benefitting from the girl's death; a mission that brings him face to face with the impending storm of persecution that will endanger the whole Christian community in America.
