Storyline: The young girl in the story is called Kaya and she lives in a beautiful, peaceful valley called Spiti. She has been told all her life that she should go and live with other Buddhist monks, and she has never questioned this idea, which has been passed down from father to daughter. To get the Rinpoche, or Buddhist teacher, back to his place of worship, senior lama Lama Norbu sends Kaya to Delhi to bring him back to his place of worship, where the Rinpoche has been living for years.
