To stop his grandfather from giving away his money, Matt, a young lawyer, goes to see him. His grandfather is an eccentric recluse who lives in the woods without gas, electricity, or a phone. Matt wants to convince him not to do this. That's not all, though. In the end, Matt decides to make some changes in his life. Jason London and Ed Asner are in the movie, and they are both actors. Whenever a woman needs someone to take care of their aging father, she doesn't want to choose her irresponsible son. Jason London plays Matt, who can't get his job, love life, or wallet in order. How can he be expected to check in on his grandfather, who lives in the same house? But Matt is desperate, so he goes to see his grandfather at his house in the middle of nowhere. It takes Matt a while to get used to this simple way of life, but then he meets a single mother who helps him learn how to live a more simple life, too.
