Onibaba
Kichi, the woman's son, is at war, so she and her daughter-in-law kill samurai who wander into their swamp and sell any valuables they find. When they hear that Kichi has died, they are both very sad, but Kichi's wife soon starts an affair with Hachi, a neighbor who lived through the war. The mother doesn't like it, and when she can't take Hachi for herself, she tries to scare her daughter-in-law with a mysterious mask from a dead samurai.
