One Fine Day

Maggie's father, Jack Taylor, is an architect like Melanie Parker. When exhausted Jack is left alone with Maggie one morning and forgets Melanie was to take her to school, they meet. As a result, both kids skip their school field trip and stay home. Because each adult is trying to save his career, the two adults reflect bad perceptions of ex-spouses onto one another. Sammy's habit of stuffing things in his nose and Maggie's wanderlust add to the levity.
