A 20-year-old Vietnamese named Song dreamed for a better future in Europe from his home in Prague. However, he is now stuck in a marijuana grow house in a Vietnamese section of Prague, where he lives as a modern slave. The scene is being rounded up by the police. Song flees to an adjacent neighborhood's rooftop, where he collapses. Mr. Rypar, who is 78 years old, is a solitary man. He has a great dislike for the current world and prefers the old times. Rypar climbs to the top of the roof, where he encounters Song, who is wailing on the edge of the roof, and the story begins.
