Oedipus Rex
A young couple has a baby boy in pre-war Italy. The father, on the other hand, is envious of his son, and the scene shifts to antiquity, where the baby is abducted and killed in the desert. He is rescued, given the name Edipo (Oedipus), and raised as the King and Queen of Corinth's son. One day, an oracle predicts that Edipo will murder his father and marry his mother. He flees Corinth and his supposed parents, only to get into a fight and kill an older man on the road...
