An underdog street racer joins forces with a smug and conceited business partner, only to be falsely accused and imprisoned by his accomplice. New York to Los Angeles is the goal of his revenge after his release from prison. A big bounty is placed on the racer's head by his ex-partner when he learns of the scheme. This forces the racer to traverse a cross-country gauntlet of illegal racers in a wide variety of turbocharged vehicles.
