Mystery of the Wax Museum

A desperate attempt by the sculptor Ivan Igor to stop his partner from torching his wax museum and his "children" comes to nothing. Years later, Igor opens a new museum in New York, but his severely damaged hands force him to direct the work of less accomplished artists. Igor develops a sinister interest in Charlotte, the fiancée of his aide Ralph, but arouses the suspicions of roommate Florence, who is a wisecracking reporter. People begin to vanish.
