After his grandfather dies, 15-year-old circus ringmaster Wei-wei is left alone with gorilla Ling-ling. Ling-ling was trained to play baseball and has developed exceptional batting talents as a result of her grandfather's passion for the game. Sung Chung-Su, a materialistic sports agent, learns of this extraordinary gorilla and signs him to play in South Korea's professional baseball league. The World's first gorilla pinch hitter and his 15-year-old trainer begin their run in the Korean Baseball League, dreaming of success.
