Duke Red has supervised the construction of a huge Ziggurat in order to extend his rule throughout the entire planet. Tima, a robot-girl created in the likeness of his late daughter, is at the heart of his schemes. She meets and befriends Kenichi, a youngster who has journeyed to Metropolis with his detective uncle in search of a scientist wanted for organ trafficking, after escaping the Duke's grasp in a laboratory fire. Will her friendship with Kenichi, as well as her awareness of her true identity, alter her fate?
