1986 Gyunggi Province. The body of a young woman who had been raped and murdered in a horrible manner was discovered. Two months later, a string of rapes and killings begins to take place under circumstances that are quite similar. And in a nation that has never experienced such killings before, murky rumors about a serial killer are becoming increasingly prevalent. A special task force has been established in the region, and in addition to local detectives Park Doo-Man and Jo Young-Goo, a detective from Seoul who has expressed interest in working on the investigation has also joined the group.
