When Margaret Rockland returns to the Washington DC suburb of her upbringing for a reunion, she is as miserable as the ubiquitous Christmas carols. Her wild childhood friends have settled into a respectable family life. To make matters worse, her ex-boyfriend is engaged to the most affluent blonde on the East Coast. Margaret retaliates by going on a drinking and drug binge. She roams the suburban no man's land with two remaining souls and ends herself in an unrivaled adventure involving kidnapping, extortion, misunderstandings, and clumsy violence.
