Little Wing

Little Wing is the story of 12-year-old Varpu, who is rapidly approaching adulthood, and her mother, who is adamant about not growing up. Varpu is a mother's daughter who has never met her father. Varpu had had enough of her riding companions and mother one night. She steals a car and journeys north in pursuit of her father, whom she knows only by name. However, her father is not what she expected. Meeting him sets off a chain reaction in Varpu and Siru's lives, causing them to recognize their respective roles in each other's lives and in the world.
