Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan who works at Mushnik's, a flower shop on the outskirts of the city's Skid Row. Mr. Mushnik berates him on a daily basis because he has a crush on Audrey Fulquard, a coworker. Audrey II is a very weird unnamed plant that Seymour discovers one day while on the hunt for a new mysterious plant. The plant appears to have a strong desire for blood, and he soon begins to sing in anticipation of his next meal of blood.
