Like a Country Song
Jake is forced to take a close look at himself and the ashes around him after life and his singing career progressively fall apart with nothing but partying and music on his mind. BECCA, Jake's old flame, reappears in his life after spotting her at a local music concert. Becca, a good girl who never forgets who Jake is, makes him work for it, only to fall in love with him all over again. Jake's mother, who has gone missing, is hiding a painful secret: Jake's father, whom he thought was dead, is alive and well. To spare Jake the agony of discovering what his father, BO, had become as a result of a terrible accident, Mia decided it would be best if Jake believed BO was dead. Jake eventually has a -random- encounter with BO on the street in a Nashville suburb, which sets in motion a chain of events that will bring Bo back into his life and, hopefully, reconciliation with the family.
