Leningrad
When Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union in 1941, its forces immediately encircled Leningrad. Although foreign journalists are evacuated, one of them, Kate Davies, is assumed dead and does not make the flight. Alone in the city, she is assisted by Nina Tsvetnova, a young and idealistic police woman, and together they will battle for their own lives and the survival of the besieged Leningrad's inhabitants.
