Lemon Tree
Salma Zidane, a widow, survives on her lemon grove in occupied West Bank. The Israeli defense minister and his wife are relocating next door, leading the Secret Service to order the trees to be cut down for security reasons. Salma, a stoic woman, seeks help from the Palestinian Authority, the Israeli army, and a young lawyer named Ziad Daud. Do you think David has a chance against Goliath in this allegory?
