Le Grand Pardon
Raymond Bettoun (the patriarch), Maurice Bettoun (the son), Jacky Bettoun (the nephew), Roland Bettoun (the nephew), Albert Bettoun (Raymond's cousin), Pépé Bettoun (Raymond's friend), and Samy Bettoun (the bodyguard) are the members of the Bettoun clan. Their activities include operating casinos, arranging underground boxing fights, illegal gambling, prostitution, racketeering, and settling scores with other Arab and French clans in a brutal manner. In the shadows, however, Pascal Villars has sworn the destruction of the Bettoun. He will succeed in pitting the Arab clan against the Jewish clan, to the great profit of police commissioner Duché, who has been unsuccessfully attempting to bring down the Bettouns for ten years.
