L'Atalante
After a quick courtship, feisty small-town girl Juliette marries barge captain Jean, and she moves onboard his boat, L'Atalante. As they travel down the Seine, Jean grows tired of Juliette's flings with his all-male crew, while Juliette yearns to escape the boredom of the boat and experience the thrill of a large metropolis.
