Lacombe, Lucien
Lucien Lacombe is a young man living in rural France during World War II who wants to join the French Resistance. This is one of Louis Malle's best-known movies. When Lucien is rejected because he is too young, he joins the Nazis and works for the Gestapo in France. Lucien enjoys the power that comes with his new job, but his life gets complicated when he falls in love with France Horn, a beautiful young Jewish woman who looks like a real person.
