Kursk
Twelve August 2000, Barents Sea. With 118 crew members on board, the K-141 Kursk submarine sinks during a Russian naval exercise after suffering a major mishap. While the few remaining sailors barely manage to survive, their families demand correct information and a British commander fights to acquire a rescue permit from the Russian authorities before it is too late. But their efforts are thwarted by their general lack of ability.
