A creature is born again every 333 years in this enigmatic universe. It is Kuiba, the beast. The creature is a result of the universe being exploited. Each time it manifests, calamity strikes everyone. Every 333 years, a ritual known as "The Revival of Kuiba" sees gods and humans from all over the world join forces to kill the monster in an effort to prevent Kuiba from returning. After Kuiba's rebirth in1664, attempts to kill him were unsuccessful because Kuiba was able to enter Manji's body. A little child named Manji is unaware that Kuiba is living inside of him. The people of Earth gather troops to fight Kuiba in response to the attempted genocide. To combat Kuiba, Manji and his Master enlist in the army because they want to establish themselves as elite warriors. Along with meeting a number of interesting personalities as they get ready for combat with Kuiba, Manji and Master Man also come across a beast that will test their readiness for the trials that lie ahead.
