Francesca has an uncanny ability to attract strange characters. When one of her stalkers is discovered dead, she turns to her best friend, Maxi, for solace. Meanwhile, Jack, Maxi's grandfather and a disgraced Rabbi, discovers a reclining chair containing a Dybbuk. Jack and his voodoo sorceress partner attempt to track out the location of the recliner while also experimenting with Jack's newly discovered ability to communicate with the other world. Meanwhile, Francesca enchants the reclining chair, which begins committing passionate crimes.
