Kanthaswamy
The plot revolves around Kanthasamy (Vikram), an Income Tax officer in the CBI, and his friends, who grant the wishes of the needy who write letters to a local Lord Muruga temple by disguising himself as an anthropomorphic chicken. During a CBI income tax raid, he discovers a stash of black money belonging to Ponnusamy (played by Ashish Vidyarthi), a wealthy and corrupted entrepreneur. Ponnusamy pretends to be paralyzed to avoid questioning. Angered by the news that her father has been paralyzed, Ponnusamy's daughter, Subbulakshmi (played by Shriya Saran), seeks vengeance on Kanthasamy by pretending to be in love with him. Kanthasamy, who is aware of Subbulakshmi's true intentions, participates in the game. This creates a cat-and-mouse game between the two.
