Journey to the Far Side of the Sun
A planet discovered in the same orbit as Earth but on the exact opposite side of the sun, rendering it invisible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decides to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane to the other planet via spaceship to explore it. Following a disastrous crash-landing, Ross awakens to find Kane near death and that they have apparently returned to Earth, as evidenced by the presence of the Council director and his staff. When he is returned to his wife's custody, he quickly discovers that not everything is as it appears.
