Journey to the Christmas Star

Sonja, a 13-year-old girl with a big heart, arrives in a small village with a band of bandits. The village, however, is cursed. Long ago, the King's only daughter Goldhair vanished while searching for the Christmas Star. The Queen died of a broken heart, leaving the broken King to fend for himself. The King cursed the Christmas Star from that day forward, bringing darkness and grief upon the land. An old sage, however, has revealed that Goldhair is still alive and will return only if the King can find his way back to the Christmas Star. Every Christmas since then, the King has searched in vain for the Christmas Star.
