Ismael's Ghosts
The story follows a widowed film director who is in the midst of making a film about an unconventional diplomat inspired by his brother. While he has begun a new life with Sylvia, he is still grieving the death of a former lover, Carlotta, who died 20 years ago; then Carlotta returns from the dead, causing Sylvia to flee.
