Isla bonita
Menorca in the summer. Olivia, as a child, has lost all comprehension of the world. She recently stopped an affair in order to initiate a genuine relationship, but it was only a matter of time before this one ended as well. She is consoled and counseled by her sculptor mother Nuria. When Fernando, a retired advertisement filmmaker, settles into their guesthouse, a new breeze blows through the island. Fernando attempts to seduce Nuria, while Olivia views him as a father figure. ISLA BONITA is an endearing, delightfully joyful comedy filled with misunderstandings – and a charming ode to Menorca's idyllic holiday island. Fernando Colomo, the film's director and star, thrills us with this semi-autobiographical fiction film.
