Internes Can't Take Money
Dr. Kildare, a young doctor, treats and falls for impoverished ex-con Janet Healy, the widow of a bank robber who can't find her baby. Later, in a tavern back room, she assists Kildare in sewing up gangster Hanlon. Kildare pursues Janet and enlists Hanlon's assistance; the gangster's solution is, predictably, violent.
