I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer

A group of adolescents in a rural community in Colorado devise a prank for the Fourth of July that is based on a terrifying urban legend. Unfortunately, the prank backfires when one of the adolescents' friends is killed as a result of it, but the adolescents decide to keep their participation a secret from the authorities, who are still looking for the person who is believed to have killed their friend. A year later, with the celebration of July 4th approaching once more, the young adults come to the realization that they are being followed by someone who obviously intends to eliminate them in order to perpetuate the horrific urban legend by doing so.
