In the wake of his wife's brutal attack on him, her husband Pat begins to wonder what is going on with her. Carmen and Pat aren't ready to face the unthinkable until one day when Carmen can't find her own house. As Carmen's memory fades and the day approaches when she will no longer be able to recognize her devoted husband, Pat seeks solace in the only spot the sickness has not yet reached: his recollections of their life together before Carmen was diagnosed with dementia.
