I Give My First Love to You
Takuma is diagnosed with a cardiac ailment as a child and requires cardiologist care. While being treated at the hospital, he quickly becomes friends with his doctor's young daughter Mayu. Mayu overhears her father declare one day that Takuma's illness is so terrible that he won't live past the age of 20. Takuma, on the other hand, is unaware of this, and at the age of eight, he promises to marry Mayu when they reach the age of twenty. Takuma realizes later in life that he will not be able to follow this vow, and he begins to distance himself from Mayu in order to protect her.
