Human Desire
Jeff Warren, a Korean War veteran returning to his job as a train engineer, boards at Alec Simmons' house and is enchanted by Alec's lovely daughter. He is instantly attracted to Vicki Buckley, the seductive wife of the burly railroad boss Carl Buckley, an alcoholic wife batterer with a propensity for explosive violence. Vicki's irresistible allure compels Jeff to reluctantly engage in a scandalous affair. After Buckley is terminated for disobedience, he begs her to intervene with John Owens, a wealthy and influential businessman whose influence can get him restored.
