Hopeless Romantic

Desperate romantic Matt (Brandon W. Jones) decides it's time to ask his girlfriend, Alexis, to marry him (Cassi Thomson). He practices his proposal on his best friend, Liz, prior to the big night (Christa B. Allen). Matt believes that if he follows the rules of his favorite love flicks, he will always receive a "Yes!" To Matt's chagrin, Alexis gently rejects him, explaining that he is simply interested in the concept of love and not in a genuine relationship. Following this unexpected setback, Matt binges on rom-coms and devises a strategy for regaining Alexis's affections. Despite her reservations about Matt's plan, Liz volunteers to serve as his wingman. The surgery to reignite his relationship appears to be succeeding only in forcing Matt to confront the possibility that he and Alexis have grown apart and his heart belongs to someone else.
