Highway to Hellas

The life of Jorg Geissner, a German banker, is completely transformed once he travels to the Greek island of Paladiki. An official business trip to check on a project known as "Galapagos in Greece" by the islanders, for which his bank had granted a loan and credit, had brought him to the country. His German heritage drives him to conduct an exhaustive investigation, but Panos, a mini-mart owner and the mayor do everything in their power to destroy him and conceal an unsavoury truth. In the aftermath of every single trial coming up empty handed as a result of the islanders' covert intervention, Jorg's journey becomes protracted, much like The Odyssey, causing him to reconsider his values and obligations in life.
