High Strung
One morning, Thane Furrows, an unintentionally amusing children's book author who finds it difficult to like anyone or anything, gets out of bed and begins the day by whining to himself. After receiving unusual phone calls and letters as well as having voices in his brain tell him something would happen at 8 p.m., Thane's day takes a turn for the bizarre. Throughout the day, Thane yells and raves about the things that upset him, as the clock ticks closer to his final destination.
