Dr. Lauren Slaughter, a research fellow at the Arab-Anglo Institute in London, is completely dissatisfied with her work. She begins moonlighting at the Jasmine Escort Service to augment her income, where she has more power over men and money than she has at the office. Lauren meets Lord Bulbeck, a politician who is attempting to mediate a peace agreement between the Arabs and the Israelis, on one of her 'dates.' Bulbeck develops feelings for his escort, and Lauren unknowingly becomes a pawn in some shady politics.
