A serene and quiet town in the Dominion of Canada is upended by the entrance of a wounded and stinking gun-toting American cowboy, simply known as The Montana Kid, who is wanted for the alleged murder of seven men. A subsequent explanation shows that his real identity is Sean Rafferty, and he confesses to murdering eleven persons, not seven.
