Gunfight in Abilene

Fighting in the Civil War a man accidently eliminates his close friend. Going back to Abilene after the battle he discovers his former sweetheart about to marry the brother of the man he killed. To pay his debt he not only refuses to win her back but takes the task of Constable, a work he does not desire, when the bro asks him. Still haunted by the murder he declines to carry a gun. But there is problem between the herdsmans and the farmers and also when he discovers the sibling killed he straps on a gun and heads after the awesome.
