A Sunday School Bible for a child. A 25-year-old relationship between an adopted girl and her parents that has been strained. A mother who merely wants to be forgiven - and to be forgiven. Abigail's dying wish is for her husband Steven to find their daughter, forgive her, and ask her forgiveness. Steven heads from Kentucky to California to accomplish that wish and to give his adoptive daughter the Bible she left behind so many years ago. Joseph encounters a mystery hitchhiker who may hold the key to the journey's end as he makes his way through the countryside.. While traveling, we learn that every journey requires a guide and that Steven is "Guided by the Word."
