Gran Torino
Walt Kowalski, a widower and Korean War veteran, is a grouchy, prejudiced, tough-minded, miserable old man who can't get along with his children or his neighbors. His prized item is a 1972 Gran Torino that he meticulously maintains. When his Hmong neighbor Thao, under pressure from his gang member cousin, tries to steal his Gran Torino, Walt tries to reform him and defend him and his family from the neighborhood gangs.
