Girl, Interrupted
Based on true events that occurred in the late 1960s, Susanna Kaysen's doctor-prescribed "brief rest" from a psychiatrist she had only met once turns into a bizarre and mysterious voyage into Alice's Wonderland, where she struggles with the fine border between normal and insane. Following her commitment, Susanna quickly finds how tough it is to get out. She is forced to choose between the world of individuals who belong inside and the difficult world of reality outside, which she ultimately does.
