The film tells the story of two outcast sisters, Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins), who live in the thoughtless suburb of Bailey Downs with their mother. During the night of Ginger's first period, she is viciously attacked by a wild animal. Despite the fact that Ginger's wounds mysteriously heal, something is not quite right. Brigitte must now save her sister while also saving herself from certain death.
